ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2021 with regard to issuance of patta, bearing S.No.1322, extent of 748 sq.ft, situated at No.36/50, Laskar Street, Alandur, Chennai-16.

2. The subject property is originally owned by the petitioner's uncle viz., R.Baskaran. The said R.Baskaran died on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

22.01.2013 leaving behind his wife B.Santha and they had no issues. Further, the petitioner always looked after his uncle and aunt and subsequently, his aunt died on 17.03.2019. , the petitioner is claiming the subject property.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the petitioner is directed to produce the legal heirship certificate and on production of the said certificate, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
