O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) This petition has been filed by the petitioner/mother of the detenue Geethanjali, D/o.Sokkanathan, aged about 18 years, who is in the illegal custody of the third respondent herein, to cause production of her daughter before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2.The detenue Geethanjali is secured and produced before this Court by the respondent police. The third respondent/husband of the detenue is also before us.

3.On enquiry, the detenue/daughter of the petitioner told us that she is a major and that she married Anand/the third respondent herein and that they are living together as husband and wife. In support of her contention, she has produced her birth certificate whereby it is seen that her date of birth is 15.12.1996 and it is also stated by her that she is willing to go along with her husband and that there is no illegal detention by anybody. 4.Recording the statement made by the alleged detenue, a major, to the effect that there is no illegal detention, we are of the view that this petition could be closed as nothing further remains to be considered in this petition.

5.Accordingly, this petition is closed.
