ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to grant promotion to the petitioner by recruitment by transfer to the post of Municipal Commissioner Grade-I on par with juniors given promotion as per G.O.(D).No.405 Municipal Administration and Water Supply (ME.1) Department dated 11.11.2021 by considering appointment in the existing vacancy to the post of Municipal Commissioner Grade-I in Sathiyamangalam Grade-I Municipality, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.10.2021, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for 2/4

the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
