This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to second respondent to provide necessary police protection for fencing the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos.256/13 and 256/4 ad measuring to an extent of 26.03 cent situated at Biroji Agraharam Village, Veerapandi via Salem District pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2023.

2. Heard Mr.M.Subash, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2023 at the earliest. 2/4

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2023 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
