PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in No.1205/BCDFGISSSV/2024, dated 06.12.2024 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenu, namely Kishorekumar, S/o. Manivannan, aged 22 years, GOONDA now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble M.JOTHIRAMAN, J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent authority vide G.O.Rt.No.336, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 24.01.2025 and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.

In view of the above submission, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
