This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to file final report in Crime No.811 of 2007 on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was registered in the year 2007 and the petitioner approached the first respondent on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the first respondent to file final report within a stipulated time frame.

3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the first respondent.

4.Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2007 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.811 of 2007 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
