ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to pass a considered order on petitioner application dated 08.02.2025 and as a consequential relief by way of direction directing the respondent to appoint him in any suitable post in the respondents department on the grounds of compassionate appointment.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioners father died during his service by leaving behind his sons and daughters through his first wife and one daughter through the second wife. All the legal heirs including the daughter of the second wife have not raised any objection and executed NOC dated 04.08.2023. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 08.02.2025 requesting compassionate appointment and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondent to

consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
