Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the second respondent to produce the body or person of P.Ishwarya Devi, who is under the illegal custody of third respondent, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for R1 and R2 and the learned counsel for third respondent. 2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/husband of the detenue, P.Ishwarya Devi, daughter of the third respondent, aged about 21 years, directing the second respondent to cause production https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of her wife/the detenue, before this Court and to set her at liberty. 3.The alleged detenue P.Ishwarya Devi is present before this Court and her parents are also present in the open Court. On enquiry, the detenue expressed that there is no illegal detention of her by anybody and that she is major and that she is willing to go along with her parents and her parents are also willing to take back their daughter.

4.Recording the statement made by the detenue to the effect that there is no illegal detention, we are of the view that this petition could be closed as nothing further remains to be considered. 5.Accordingly, this petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum seeking remedy, according to law.
