Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation from the 5th respondent to the 3rd respondent to investigate and file final report in Crime No.4 of 2018 dated 27.08.2018 on the file of the 5th respondent.

O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation of the FIR, which is pending on the file of the 5th respondent in Crime NO.04 of 2018. 2.When the matter came up for hearing during the last occasion, this Court directed the Additional Public Prosecutor to take instructions and also direct the 5th respondent to file a status report. Today, a status report has been filed by the 5th respondent. The status report reveals that the police have already completed the investigation and the same is pending for obtaining legal opinion from the Deputy Director of Prosecution, Kancheepuram. The Status report also reveals the fact that all the relevant witnesses have been examined in this case. Therefore, there is no scope for any transfer of investigation at this Stage.
3.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction the 5th respondent to file a final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
