O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Allikulam, Chennai to expedite the proceedings in M.P.No.1068 of 2015 in unnumbered C.C.No.of 2017.

2.When this matter came up on 12.04.2017, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to ascertain the stage of the proceedings pending before the Trial Court through the Inspector of Police concerned.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the State has nothing to do in this matter since the matter relates to private claim. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate at Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai is directed to dispose of the petition in Crl.M.P.No.1068 of 2015 in unnumbered C.C.No.of 2017 pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
