This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a F.I.R. based on the petitioner's complaint dated 23.11.2021.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 23.11.2021 and no First Information Report has been registered.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that earlier the petitioner had lodged a complaint and CSR No.187 of 2021 assigned, on 03.05.2021, they had enquired the petitioner and the counter complainant. The CSR had been closed on 24.05.2021. Now the petitioner again sent a fresh complaint for the same facts which is in the stage of Current Paper number enquiry and the same would be conducted and appropriate steps would be taken. He further submitted that the petitioner can appear before the respondent Police on 08.02.2022 along with the copy of the complaint and the thereafter, the counter complainant would be called for enquiry and the petitioner's complaint would be disposed of.

4. In view of the same, the petitioner shall appear before he respondent Police on 08.02.2022 along with the copy of the complaint.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
