ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to withdraw and transfer the appeal in CA No.2 of 2016 from the file of the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Chengalpet to the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Villupuram or any other Court and to direct the Court concerned to complete the proceedings within the stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the appeal in C.A.No.2 of 2016, after completion of trial, has been posted for arguments.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Chengalpet to hear the arguments in CA.No.2 of 2016, pending on his file, without granting unnecessary adjournments and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
