Mrs.V.Yamunadevi, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 11.09.2023, which was preferred against the order of the second respondent in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1223/2023/A2, dated 19.08.2023, in and by which, the second respondent cancelled the Patta stands in the name of the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on Pg.Nos.2/5
11.09.2023, till date the first respondent has not disposed of the same.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has not produced any document to prove his claim over the subject property, and the second respondent passed the order cancelling the Patta issued to the petitioner. The petitioner has no merit either in the appeal or in the present writ petition.
5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 11.09.2023, on merits and in accordance with law after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as rival claimants/interested parties if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
