ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents police to register the case on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.09.2013 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent herein to investigate the same in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. From a perusal of the materials available on record, it appears that the Tahsildar, Erode District has given a complaint to the Inspector of Police, Surampatti on 26.03.2013 and the copy of the said complaint has been enclosed with the typed set of papers. Hence, the 3rd respondent police is directed to take action on the complaint dated 26.03.2013 given by the Tahsildar, Erode District in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
