O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 01.12.2021 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pollachi Taluk Police Station, Coimbatore District.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had sent a complaint through post on 01.12.2021 and the same was received by the respondent police on 02.12.2021. The petitioner had sent the above said complaint against one Kanagaraj in respect of a land dispute between them. Though the petitioner had appeared for enquiry on 25.12.2021, thereafter the petitioner was not aware about the status of the complaint. Hence, he filed the above said petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner's complaint was received by through post and enquiry was conducted, as well, the said Kanagaraj had lodged a complaint against the petitioner herein. Both the complaints were enquired together. During enquiry it was found that both the cases are civil in nature. Hence, both https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the complaints were closed on 25.12.2021. Further he submits that the closure report has not been served to the parties concerned.

4.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner. Thereafter, it is for the petitioner to agitate the same in the manner known to law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
