Respondents in all the WPs * * * Common Prayer : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' representation dated 30.01.2013 in the light of the order dated 09.01.2013 passed in W.P.Nos.33480, 33473, 33447 of 2012, respectively, by the Hon'ble High Court, Madras as expeditiously as possible.

Mr.C.Jagadish for RR2 to 4 C O M M O N O R D E R On 28.07.2020, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners and hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 06.08.2020. When the matter was listed on 06.08.2020, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners and hence, in order to given one more opportunity to the petitioners to argue the case, the matter was directed to be listed on 07.08.2020 under the caption 'For Dismissal'. Even today (i.e. on 07.08.2020), when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Hence these writ petitions are dismissed for non-prosecution.

2. Incidentally, the learned Special Government Pleader representing the first respondent submitted that the petitioners have sent letters dated 03.08.2020 addressed to the Inspector of Police, Vatthalagundu Police Station, Dindugal District, written by all the three petitioners in the above three writ petitions mentioning that the matter has been amicably settled between them and the private respondents herein. In response, on behalf of private respondents, namely respondents 2 to 4, one Mary Thomas (respondent No.4), has addressed a similar letter to the Inspector of Police, Vathalagundu Police Station, Dindigul District. The learned Special Government Pleader is directed to send a copy of the said letters to the Registry for keeping them in the bundle.
