PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.385 of 2017 dated 10.11.2017 on the file of the respondent and entrust with CBCID or any other agency for the purpose of investigation.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.385 of 2017 dated 10.11.2017 on the file of the respondent and entrust the same with CBCID or any other agency for the purpose of investigation.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent has filed a status report and on instructions stated that the investigation is almost completed and so far, they have examined seven persons and about to file a final report.

3. Under this circumstance, the change of investigation would affect the entire investigation in Crime No.385 of 2017. Therefore, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

granted. However, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner of Police, CBCID, Chennai, is directed to monitor the investigation done by the respondent and also ensure that the respondent is filing the final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
