ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to provide employment to the 2nd petitioner on compassionate grounds, based on her educational qualification. 2.It is the case of the petitioners that the husband of the first petitioner died on 21.04.2017, while he was in service as Pharmacy Assistant. On 12.02.2018, the first petitioner made an application to the third respondent to provide employment to her
daughter viz., the second petitioner on compassionate grounds. However, vide proceedings of the third respondent dated 14.02.2018, the said application was rejected on the ground that the second petitioner has not fulfilled the age criteria (i.e.) 18 years for providing employment. After the second petitioner attained majority and completed her higher secondary eduction, the first petitioner made another application on 15.10.2018 to the second respondent, seeking employment on compassionate grounds. The said application is pending without any progress. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Court. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners' application dated 15.10.
2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits, for which, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioners dated 15.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
