PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent Police herein viz., the Inspector of Police, Valathy Police Station, Villupuram District to register the case on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.11.2021 and file a final report in accordance with law.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondent police herein viz. The Inspector of Police, Valathy Police Station, Villupuram District to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.11.2021 and file a final report in accordance with law.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has sent a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Villupuram on 14.11.2021 with copies marked to the Collector and others, thereafter no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned jurisdictional Police in GB No.2942/32323/2021 and thereafter CSR No.897 of 2021 assigned. The petitioner and the counter complainant were called for enquiry. Finding that the dispute is civil in nature, the respondent police advised both the parties to appear before the Civil Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already they filed a Civil Suit and obtained order in favour of the petitioner.

5. In view of the same, if the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the protection or assistance from the police authorities, it is for the petitioner to approach the concerned Civil Court to get appropriate remedies.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
