Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders based on the petitioner's representation dated.14.12.2021 by removing all the discrepancies occurred in the process of demarcation and delimitation process pertaining to Ward No.15, Karaikudi Panchayat, Sivagangai District, within the time-frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed to seek a direction on the respondents for consideration of the representation of the petitioner dated 14.12.2021. The representation was given pointing out discrepancies in the voters' list.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission submit that the discrepancies, referred by the petitioner, were realised by them and accordingly, necessary corrections would be made in the voters' list by 24.01.2022. In fact, 36 names were recorded in the other ward and after realising the aforesaid, it is not only the name of the petitioner would be placed in the voters' list of the ward concerned, but it would be in reference to other persons also.
3. In view of the facts narrated by the learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission, we do not find any reason to pass any order now in reference to the prayer made by the petitioner for consideration of his representation rather it is already conceded by the respondents that they realised the mistakes in the voters' list and necessary corrections therein would be made by 24.01.2022.
In view of the above, we close the writ petition. However, the respondents would carry out the corrections in the voters' list by the date mentioned by them. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.575 of 2022 is closed.
