ORDER
The petitioners herein preferred a representation dated 06.10.2020 for assigning the petitioners' property comprised in Survey Nos. 142, 142, 233/1, in Panchetty village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
2.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate has made a statement on instructions that the property comprised in Survey No.142 has been notified for construction of Court Complex in Ponneri and he has also circulated a copy of the G.O.(Ms) No.162, Revenue and Disaster Management Department dated 03.05.2018.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner now submits that the petitioners' request for assignment at least with regard to the property comprised in S. No.233/1 may now be considered. 4.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate has made a statement on instructions that the enquiry for this purpose is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m., on 26.02.2021 at the Office of the Tahsildar, fourth respondent herein. The said statement is recorded.
5.This Court, now directs the 4th respondent, Tahsildar to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2020 with regard to the property comprised in S.No.233/1 of Panchetty Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District after giving due notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021. 6.This Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly.
