ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.229 of 2013.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Sivagami and another, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 11.07.2013 and the same was registered in Crime No.229 of 2013. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2013, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3.I have heard Mr.M.Jai Ganesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.229 of 2013 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
