ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.297 of 2014.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Sivagami and 12 others, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 20.07.2014 and the same was registered in Crime No.297 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 147, 448, 427 and 506(i) IPC. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2014, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard Mr.M.Jai Ganesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.297 of 2014 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
