[Order was delivered by R.SUBBIAH,J] The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition praying for issuance of a a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to direct the concerned authorities of the Greater Chennai Corporation to take appropriate steps to stop the construction work and also to demolish the illegal and unauthorised portion of the construction being put up at Old Door.No.84, New No.246, Block No.35, R.S.No.1319/77, Appa Rao Garden, Rajamuthiah Salai, (Sydenhams Road), Choolai, Chennai 600 112.

2. Dr.C.Ravichandran, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the Corporation has initiated action against the sixth respondent by issuing Lock & Seal and Demolition notice dated 06.01.2020 and that they would proceed further in accordance with law. A copy of the notice dated 06.01.2020 is produced before this Court.

3. Recording the above said submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for Corporation, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
