O R D E R

This petition has been filed to expedite the trial in O.P.No.3989 of 2014 pending before the Hon'ble III Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2.The petitioner married the respondent on 25.05.2014 and the marriage was an arranged marriage. Immediately after marriage, the petitioner found that his wife, the respondent herein has illicit relationship with her uncle and she also got conceived. Therefore, the petitioner filed a petitioner before the III Additional Family Court, Chennai, seeking to declare the marriage as null and void in O.P.No.3989 of 2014 and the same is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3.It is seen that the case in O.P.No.3989 of 2014 is pending before the Court below. At this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, considering the case in O.P.No.3989 of 2014 is pending from 2014 onwards, the Court below is directed to complete the trial and to dispose of the case, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already disposed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
