The petitioners / A4 and A5, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.12.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 372, 373, 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 81 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 in Crime No.510 of 2023, seek bail.
2.It is stated that A1 had illegal intimacy with the defacto complainant and as result of which, the defacto complainant gave birth to a child. It is stated that all the accused persons had colluded together and the child was purchased by the 2nd petitioner herein / A5, who did not have any children. In this transaction, the 1st petitioner / A4 was also involved. It is seen that A2 and A6 are still absconding. 3.Taking into consideration the seriousness of the offences involved, wherein, a human child was valued for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/-, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
