ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.15 of 2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Murugesan and 4 others, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 22.01.2015 and the same was registered in Crime No.15 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), and 506(ii) IPC. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard Mr.Parigopal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.15 of 2015 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
