Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation dated 03.10.2020 and further direct the respondents to activate the computer account in respect of the Petitioner's proeprty bearing Door No.6/1 (11/1), Hunters Lane, Choolai, Chennai - 600 007 assessed in Property Tax Assessment No. Bill No.05-058-01705
-000 (old Bill No.017-102-0764-001) to enable the petitioners to remit his property tax due or in the alternative to accept the same through cheques forthwith.

O R D E R
Ms.Vaitheeswarari, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to proceed in the matter even finally. Thus, by consent expressed by both parties, this matter is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.
2. The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation dated 03.10.2020, direct them to activate the computer account in respect of the Petitioner's property bearing Door No.6/1 (11/1), Hunters Lane, Choolai, Chennai - 600 007 and to enable the petitioner to remit the property tax due, therein or to accept the same through any other mode.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent confirms that the representation has indeed been received by the respondents and also assures the Court that the same will be considered and disposed as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of four (4) weeks from today after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
4. Thus the mandamus sought for is achieved and a direction is issued to R5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2020 and pass orders thereupon after hearing the petitioner and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from today.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid directions. No costs.
