ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.22 of 2016.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Mani, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 20.08.2016 and the same was registered in Crime No.22 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 498-A and 506(ii) IPC . But, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard Mr.Parigopal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.22 of 2016 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
