This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 08.11.2021 and proceed with the investigation.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint to the respondent police on 08.11.2021 and C.S.R.No.515 of 2021 assigned. The said complaint has been filed to take appropriate action against the accused persons viz., G.Prema, Venkatesh and Karthick for creating fabricated documents and collected rent by dishonestly deceiving the petitioner and to take action against Vadivel and Devi for illegal occupation of the above property belongs to the petitioner. However, till date no action was taken by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent on the complaint given by the petitioner. Hence the present petition is filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaint of the petitioner CSR.No.515 of 2021 assigned on 12.11.2021. The respondent police seeks some more time to complete the enquiry and file the final report or closure report.

4.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry and file the final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of four weeks preferably, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the defacto complainant. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
