This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent police to alter the case registered U/s.174 Cr.P.C. in Crime No.101 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that on the representation given by the petitioner to alter the offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C., and to include Sections 147, 506(ii) and 302 of IPC in Crime No.101 of 2016, has been enquired and the same was closed on 08.08.2016 as "further action dropped".

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
