This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to issue the "Notes for Record" Letter and consequently execute a Power Purchase Agreement under the Comprehensive Tariff Order in respect of 5 MW solar power project to be established by the petitioner at Kumaratiapuram Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Rahul Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, now the prayer sought by the petitioner in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition and the same may be dismissed as infructuous. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
