This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2023.

2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that she has given a representation to the second respondent on 10.04.2023, seeking to restore the assignment of the subject property, which was already assigned to one Sukkirappa Gounder, who is the father-in-law of the petitioner, but Page Nos.2/6

subsequently, cancelled and assigned to L.A.Housing Board vide order dated 06.11.2000. Since the second respondent has not considered the same, till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Since this Writ Petition is only for a mandamus simplicitor to consider the representation, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all Page Nos.3/6

the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
