This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give police protection to the life and property of the petitioners.

2.The petitioners seek direction to the respondent to give police protection to their life and their property situated at Survey Nos.

95/1A1C/2A1A, 93/1, 93/2, 93/1A1C/2A1A, 95/1A1C/2A1B, (No.36) Muttukadu Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, TN-603 112 measuring to an extent of 3 acres and 49 cents, based on the complaint dated 01.06.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.It is seen that the complaint was made in the year 2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
