This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2017.
2.According to the petitioner, he was the resident of Ward No.12, in Arachalur Town Panchayat for nearly 30 years, the above said Ward has been reserved for Scheduled Caste, even though, there is less number of scheduled caste peoples were residing. In the above circumstances, the petitioner made a representation dated 24.08.2017, to make the ward as general ward. But, so for the said representation was not considered by the first respondent. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
