Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the detenue Nanthini, daughter of Krishnan, aged 17 years, is now under illegal custody of 4th respondent herein, before this Court and to set her at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) There is no representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 3. 2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/father of the detenue Nanthini, Daughter of Krishnan, aged about 17 years, directing the respondents to cause production of his daughter/the detenue before this Court and to set her at liberty.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for Respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the alleged detenue Nanthini is secured and produced before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Uthankarai, for which, he has also produced a copy of material papers to show that the alleged detenue was set along with her father/the petitioner. He further submitted that having considered the willingness of the alleged detenue, she was sent along with her father, who is the petitioner herein.

4. Recording the statement made by the Additional Public Prosecutor, we are of the view that this petition is ordered to be closed as nothing further remains to be considered in this petition. 5.Accordingly, this petition is closed.
