Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus petition directing the 4th respondent to produce the body and person of the petitioner's son namely Ramesh, son of Rajendran, aged 21 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) This petition has been filed by the petitioner/father of the detenu Ramesh, aged about 21 years, to secure his son, who is said to be in the illegal custody of the 4th respondent and to set him at liberty.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The alleged detenu Ramesh, aged about 21 years, son of Rajendran-the petitioner herein, appeared before this Court. The petitioner is also present before this Court. 4.

It is alleged by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that Ramesh was illegally detained by the 4th respondent. However, the same was denied by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 5.

Having recorded the same, since the detenu voluntarily appeared before this Court, recording his statement, the Habeas Corpus Petition is ordered to be closed.
