O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the 1st - 4th respondents, Officials of Tambaram Corporation to complete the road and rain water drainage work at Mullai Street, Sakthi Nagar, West Tambaram, Chennai, in accordance with the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.333/2024E1 (Ma-4) dated 13.09.2024. 2 / 6

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the three petitioners are residents of Sakthi Nagar in West Tambaram. They had stated that the 5th respondent had called for a tender to lay a road through proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 19.08.2024. One V.Dayalan was nominated as contractor and work order had also been issued to him on 13.09.2024. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Tambaram Corporation to ensure that the work order is executed in accordance with the terms there of. There are two further respondents viz., the 5th and 6th respondents who have certain grievance as against the petitioners herein. They had also filed a Civil Suit against the petitioners. But all these matters were need not come on the way of the work order being executed by the contractor V.Dayalan.

3.The 1st - 4th respondents may therefore ensure that in accordance with the work order and in accordance with the time limit given in the work order, the contractor completes the work and take necessary steps to ensure that the work is actually completed in accordance with the work order. No further directions are required, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. 3 / 6

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
