Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detenu's detention order passed by the second respondent in his order No.266/2015 dated 23.03.2015 approved by the first respondent and set aside the same and produce the detenu Sarath @ Vellai Sarath, aged 24 years, S/o.Bommuraj, now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.] The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 23.03.2015 against her son, branding him https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed against the husband of the petitioner dated 23.03.2015 in No.266/2015 on the file of the second respondent is revoked on the opinion expressed by the Advisory Board by the Government of India in G.O.Rt.No.3156, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 11.05.2015 and produced a copy of the said order.

3. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
