Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records in connection with the order of the second respondent in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.23 of 2015 dated 30.03.2015 against the detenu namely Deepan @ Deepan Chakravarthi, son of Thirumalai, aged about 21 years who confined at District Jail and Borstal School Pudukottai and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the detenu before this Court and to set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) The petitioner, who is wife of the detenu herein, viz., Deepan @ Deepan Chakravarthy, aged about 21 years, S/o.Thirumalai, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the third respondent dated 30.03.2015 against her hsuband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Piracy Act 1982 [Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner herein dated 30.03.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.3171, Home, Prohibition & Excise [XI] Department dated 11.05.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
