The 1st petitioner's husband died in an accident. Making a claim of for compensation for the death of the husband, she filed 1/4

M.A.C.O.P.No.18 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-1st Additional District Court at Thoothukudi.

2. The petitioner now seeks for transfer of the proceedings to the Small Causes Court at Chennai.

3. Iffco-Tokkio has a panel of counsels to defend the cases even in Chennai. Therefore, if the proceedings are transferred to Chennai, no prejudice will be caused to the respondents. Consequently, M.A.C.T.O.P.No.18 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-1st Additional District Court, Thoothukudi is withdrawn and transferred to the Small Causes Court at Chennai for disposal.
