ORDER
Seeking a direction to the first respondent to register the complaint dated 02.06.2014, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.
3. From a perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint to the Central Bureau of Investigation on 02.06.2014. Thereafter, he has given complaint to the Director General of Police on 23.03.2015.
4. Under such circumstances, a positive direction cannot be given to the respondent police to register the case. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is closed and the petitioner is directed to give a detail complaint to the District Crime Branch, Nagapattinam and on receipt of the same, the District Crime Branch, Nagapattinam is directed to enquire the same and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
