The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.11.2019, draw and disburse the salary of the petitioner as Head Constable, w.e.f 25.07.2000 to 31.07.2011 based on the revised pay fixation order issued by the Superintendent of Police, Tiruppur District dated 21.06.2012 within a reasonable time.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner viz., A.Karuppannan after the punishment period was over he was upgraded as a Head Constable w.e.f. 25.07.2000 and the said order was passed in the year 2010. Later he was upgraded as a Special Sub-Inspector of Police in the year 2011. Even though his pay was fixed on 21.06.2012, the arrears of salary due for the period while serving as an Head Constable from 2000 to till 2010 has not been drawn and paid to him. Hence the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents but there was no response. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits, within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no objection for said order being passed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2019, if not considered till date and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation and direction. No costs.
