ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the FIR, investigate and file the final report on the basis of the complaint & CSR dated 24.11.2014 according to law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it appears that the petitioner had borrowed a sum of Rs.1.5 lakhs from the proposed accused on 24.06.2011 and the proposed accused has also executed a document. Hence, the complaint is essentially civil in nature. Therefore, no positive direction could be given to the respondent police to register a case.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
