3. A perusal of the e-court status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that pleadings of the parties were completed as early as 11.09.2023. Though the suit was posted for trial as early as 02.02.2024, till date there is no substantial progress and according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the trial has not commenced. It is also seen from the E-Court status that suit was referred for mediation twice and there was no headway in the said attempt.

4. Taking into consideration the pleadings of the parties were completed in November 2023 itself and the suit was posted for commencement of the trial as early as 02.02.2024, this Court is inclined to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible.

5. With this direction, the civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs. 19.01.2026 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No nr To The Principal District Judge at Chengalpattu. 2/3
