(R4 Suo-motu Impleaded vide order dated 18.02.2021 made in WP.No.3256 of 2021 by NSSJ) Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner association dated 06.10.2020 directing the 2nd Respondent to direct to survey the land and to issue electricity, water connection including patta for the lands occupied by the petitioner's association.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to survey the land and to issue electricity, water connection including patta for the lands occupied by the petitioner's association, considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2020.

2.This Court suo moto impleads the Tahsildhar, Madhavaram, Chennai - 600 066 as additional fourth respondent. 3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 4 and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 09.03.2021 at 11.00 a.m. at the office of the fourth respondent/Tahsildar.

4.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

5.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the fourth respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
