ORDER

The petitioners herein in essence claim that they are from weaker section of the Society that they have put up some huts and living in Survey No.311 at Somavarapatti Village, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District, have filed separate representations dated 5.8.2020 and 10.8.2020 seeking assignment of the same.

2. Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the fourth respondent/Tahsildar to consider the representations of the petitioners, explore the feasibility of assigning the very land in Survey No.311 of Somavarapatti Village, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District, or where it is not feasible to explore the possibility to consider assigning any other properties, and if it is possible for him to do so, after conducting necessary enquiries the entire exercise shall be done in accordance with law and to dispose of the representations of the petitioners dated 5.8.2020 and 10.8.2020, within a period of twelve (12) from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
