PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in 1231/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 12.12.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce Sanjana@Sathishkumar, Transgender, aged 31 years, W/o. Robert, who is presently confined at Special Prison for Women, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble M.JOTHIRAMAN, J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent authority vide G.O.Rt.No.394, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 28.01.2025 and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.

In view of the above submission, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
