This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.38 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent-Police.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.38 of 2022 final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate -IV, Coimbatore on 29.01.2024 and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.62 of 2024.

3. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
