[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in No.242/BCDFGISSSV/2017 dated 09.05.2017 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, John @ Johnson, aged 22 years, S/o.Baskar, residing at
No.31, 16th Street, Tsunami Quarters, Ernavoor, Chennai-57 and quash the same.
2. It is represented on the side of the respondents that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked, by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.2912 dated 20.06.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been revoked.
3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
